Saturday 27th September

Went to Stanwick Lakes for a walk in the morning finishing with tea and scone at the cafe.  Then went back and got Beryl's car and went to car wash then to garden centre.  Bought a bench and sleeping dog ornament for Bovey.  Had supper of sausage casserole and watched strictly again.

Mike was out at work, and in the evening, when I got back from Devon, so I was able to have a quiet night in and chill out.  I composed an email to Victoria (Devon Blinds) and then slept on it before sending it the next morning with a few amendments.  I got a hysterical reply asking me why I was attacking her and stating she was very upset.  Clearly neurotic! Jayne rang her the following week and she said she was on holiday until 19th July! The rest of June passed agreeably in London.  It was actually nice to get back here to relative peace and calm.  I made a last minute decision to go to the Fitness class on Friday 23rd, having not been for a couple of months.  The instructor thought I had given up!  I couldn't go again for the rest of the month although I did try the dance fitness class on a Monday for the first time and found it a good one so I have added that to my portfolio! Sunday 15 September

Had nice relaxed start.  We went to 10.30 as ringing at Barnes later because of patronal festival so couldn't do both.  Dreadful service.  Back to church Sunday with dumbed down words and naff hymns.  Followed by splendid buffet lunch in hall. Went to black park country park in the afternoon.  Rained quite a bit but managed to stay under trees during worst bits.  Cross stitched for a while when we got back and watched morse. Then went out to eat.  Aimed for strada but got to Lara and decided to go in. Amazing mezes starter.  Had kofte and then baklava and turkish coffee.  Mike took half his seafood casserole home.  Nice red wine called pamukkale.

Saturday 29th June

Mike went to Barnes in morning and I spent morning going through pieces on you tube with score. Very useful.  Also washed all bedding.  Went to rehearsal.  Suki picked up by Lee and Emma.  Back home by 4. Mowed lawn.  Watched some tennis.  Back to st nicks for 7. Concert was mediocre but not disastrous.  Went to tarantella afterwards and had lovely meal with lots of red wine.  Left car and walked home.  Got to bed at just gone 1am!
